 I just wanted to thank SKY radio and Dr. Lange for having such a great program. Saturday am. I was listening a while back and Dr. Lange was talking about "ocular migraines", he said usually they are nothing to worry about but if you are over 60 and getting them, to have a complete vascular workup including carotid artery studies. 

Well I have been getting what the local eye group in Ocala calls "ocular migraines" for about three years. This strange visual phenomena has been getting worse every six months and my same doctors I have been seeing for ten years said "no big deal, nothing to worry about, and left it at that!! 

They said I didn't need any other tests and made me feel like an idiot when I asked if I needed to have any other tests done.  Well I took Dr. Lange's radio advice and went to see a cardiologist, both carotid arteries were almost totally blocked, my cholesterol was elevated and my heart arteries were not great either. 

The cardiologist told me if I would not have come in when I did, I would have been dead soon. The cardiologist put me on a blood thinner (Plavix) and a cholesterol med
(Crestor), I had carotid artery surgery and feel much better now, (didn't realize how tired I was until I had the surgery), so the only symptom I had was these ocular migraines and if I would not have been listening to Dr. Lange's radio show I may not be here today to be typing this message.

Dear Dr. Lange, 

Earlier in December I visited your Triple Crown Plaza location to have my eyes examined for new glasses. I made the appointment well enough ahead of time so I would have you do the exam. I wanted to compliment you on your professionalism along with every other person I dealt with in your office. Sandi Shannon was wonderful and very patient with me in trying on frames, she worked diligently to make sure I got the frames I wanted and that would work with my prescription. 

This is the third time I have gotten glasses at your offices and would never go anywhere else. 

At your recommendation I am now using the Fortifeye Complete vitamins and will see if they make a difference in my eye health. I enjoy listening to your radio show and have learned a lot. Once again , thank you for a great experience in getting my eye exam and new glasses, I love them, I got the Kodak Unique with InstaShades and they are all I expected them to be.
